Si Wu Tang, meaning “Four Substances Decoction” and often known as Four Treasures Soup, is one of the best-known classical formulas in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Traditionally used to nourish and replenish Blood, it has a long history of use for women throughout the menstrual cycle and during periods of recovery and depletion.
While often associated with women's health, Si Wu Tang is not exclusively for women. In traditional practice, the formula may be used for both women and men when Blood nourishment is appropriate.
When to Enjoy

How to Enjoy
Prepare Si Wu Tang as a traditional herbal broth or turn it into a nourishing meal.
Simmer the herbal blend with chicken or pork bones and water or broth. Enjoy the broth on its own or serve with meat, vegetables, rice, or noodles.
For a plant-based preparation, simmer the herbs with water or vegetable broth.
